ofi secures inaugural US$1,975 million sustainability-linked loan

Olam has launched its climate-tech venture Terrascope to empower companies to accurately and efficiently manage and reduce their carbon emissions.
Since the beginning of its commercial trials, Terrascope has measured over 230 million metric tonnes of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions for companies from industry sectors with complex supply chains – Food & Beverage, Agriculture, Real Estate, and Consumer Goods – across 15 countries. Current commercial trials are underway with businesses across diverse industries and sectors in the UK, France, 印尼, Japan, 马来西亚和新加坡.

Providing Access to Clean Drinking Water in Satikran, Côte d'Ivoire

The solar-powered water pump will provide the community with safe and clean drinking water, something they have long struggled to access.

Greater urgency and partnership are needed to kick-start a smallholder farmer recovery stuck on pause
The tidal impact of COVID-19 has resulted in humanitarian and economic consequences that have been felt across the globe. The progress made against the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly towards no poverty and zero hunger, has been seriously hampered since the pandemic took hold over one year ago. Hard-won gains such as reducing childhood stunting actually stand to be reversed.
An Olam-conducted survey of over 3,400 farmers across 19 countries has shown the impact smallholder farmers have seen to their incomes, livelihoods and their communities as changes and disruptions have been felt across global food and agricultural supply chains.
